Easter Weekend

He feel asleep before we got home to see that the Easter bunny came to our house!

Another egg hunt on the other side of the bay from where we ate brunch. This one was a pirate theme.

The Bahia boat cruise we took after brunch.
plenty of watermelon and sweet treats to keep Nate happy at the buffet.
We had to leave church early because Nate couldn't sit still any longer (we almost made it to communion though!) so we stopped along our walk back to the car to take some pictures.

Nate thinks of interesting things to do with the toilet paper when we accidentally leave it within reach. This is a toilet paper road according to Nate.

Putting stickers on the eggs we colored.

We went to a local egg hunt in Solana Beach. Nate had fun collecting the eggs.

Sunday Hike-South side of San Elijo Lagoon

tricycle fun

he can pedal now! ...and even found a new trick (going backwards)

Springtime "Egg"ucation

Nate and I went to an event at the San Elijo lagoon on Saturday for kids. They learned about animals, answered questions, and got a candy filled egg for their basket at each station. The four stations included snakes, lizards, bird eggs, stages of a frog (from tadpoles to full grown), and stages of a butterfly. Nate just loved looking at all of the creatures. He is really enjoying going on nature hikes lately. I love that this lagoon is only about a mile from our home.

Dave took some time off from work to go to Legoland with us last Thursday. Here they are on Nate's very first roller coaster ride...the dinosaur themed Coastersaurus.
