The next morning at SolVista Ski resort, I ran a 5 mile Summit Assault race. The elevation change was 2000 feet and I was definitely feeling it near the top . The boys met me at the summit and we got to ride the ski lift down. At the bottom, music was playing and lunch was served. It was a difficult run but beautiful and well worth the effort!
On the way back, before we drove through Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, we stopped for a little break near Grand Lake. What a beautiful time of year with all of the Aspen trees turning.

Nate is like the guy from the show Dual Survivors (the one that doesn't wear shoes).
This picture is out of order, but these are my friends and I after we made it to the top of the mountain!

Happy belated Birthday last month to Dave. He had a wonderful day.

Note from Alexander...

Look out World, here I come!! I learned to crawl today, *big grin*! I can pull myself up to standing too. What a great perspective. I can watch my brother and find his toys more quickly now. Life is great! :)  xoxo, Alexander

Labor Day

We made a little trek to Lookout Mtn. to see Nana and Papa for lunch and a hike on Labor Day
