1 month old

Sweet cuddly Alexander is already one month old. He's 10 lbs and 21 and 5/8" long (50th percentile across the board). Very healthy according to the doctor yesterday :)

I tried to get Nate to hold Alexander. He didn't really want to, so I put a pillow on him to separate them. Nate doesn't want too much to do with his brother yet. But he did think it was funny when I suggested we put him in a basket to see if he would fit.

Nate felt Alexander's tummy and it was a bit warm. So, he says Alexander's a HOT DOG!

3 1/2 weeks old

Just a little update. Alexander is doing very well. A little touch of pink eye this week but he is growing strong and at the 75 percentile for height, weight, and head circumference. He has fully recovered from the meconium aspiration and just has a touch of the jaundice left that he's still ridding his body of (normal). He's gotten to meet all of the grandparents in the past few weeks as well. We are trying to get sleep around here but have been up every 2 hours at night. Thank goodness for Dave's excellent morning espresso!

1st days home

 Since I was a bit occupied to cut Nate's hair this time, Dave took him for the first time to the salon. I think he had a fun time!

 Brunch, baby, and birthdays! We had a fun time celebrating Gene and Barb's birthdays at our house on Sunday.
