Touch-a-truck

We went to an event this morning called Touch A Truck. 100% of the proceeds are going to research for kids' cancer. Dozens of vehicles were on display for kids to climb in and honk the horns.

Legoland

As if going to the Zoo weren't enough yesterday, today we ventured out to Legoland! Our friend had a free pass she wasn't going to use so it was our lucky day :) This place is so amazing and perfect for the under 5 set.

All made from Legos!

Firefighter show
Helicopter ride

Fun playground
He really wanted to do this since he saw the big kids climb up.

It's so great Nate can go on the rides since he's 34" now. He even got to control the plane (up and down) by pulling a lever.

this morning at the San Diego Zoo

Nate got an early birthday present...a membership to the zoo! We had so much fun this morning and we plan to go next week for the Mommy and Me Hip-Hip-Horrary Hippo program.

Polar Bear Plunge

I like having a longer zoom on my camera now since some of these animals are so far away :)

He was so close to us!

Hippos and fish

Nate insisted on pushing his car almost the whole time.
This is a rare moment when Nathan actually naps during the day. He usually doesn't nap on the sofa but he fell asleep in the car, so I just transferred him here.

Little Ella had a cute Tinkerbell themed party.

The girls were fascinated by what Nate was doing (playing with his toy dump truck)

Old Poway Park

What a beautiful park this was. Nate loved the train/trolley that was running through the park. On some days they even have a steam engine going.

Trucks at the beach and Fun at the Cardiff Ice Cream Social

Nate just loves trucks and tractors right now...

You can see here where Nate got his first stitches ever last Friday. He was pushing his truck around like he is here and landed on his knee in the opening of our slider door...ouch!

Nate loved the bubble/foam machine
